It is a very well written book. One you start reading it , it will catch all your attention to complete it one go. Has some good management thoughts which we can practice to achieve success in our lives. It provides very good insight into experiences which we go through in our daily lives, help us realize how much we can learn from each of the incident and convert them to real stories of success.
Thank you Elango for sharing an author copy with me. It has always been an memorable experience listening to you, reading you blogs and now having more of you though this book.
A book for every professional teaching how to come out of your own shell and challenge to do something bigger and better. I loved the anecdotes and their blend with gyan that most of us know but forget over a period of time.
I recommend everyone to read this book and enlighten themselves on basics of achieving and living the success.
One would surely agree after reading this book “ You Don’t Need A Godfather- You Need YOU”

Super excited in chapters.”Slit in the chilies”,”play to fail”..never had in my life i gave a serious made me to realize the gaps i need to fill..This book is a benchmark for inspirational leadership
Awesome book! Loved reading every word of it… the best part was that I could relate to almost all parts of the book – simplw yet powerful messages!!! Very well written!
“You Don’t Need a Godfather” was all that you promised it would be in your introduction. It also infuses a lot of quiet confidence, and helped me apply such confidence to real situations in the past and present – things that worked, things that did not, things that I would change for going ahead, things I would not ever even if the outcome was less harsh.
I was impressed by Jerry’s insight into the second category of managers and do echo his hope that you will write a book on and for them
Like to thank you and congratulate you again for this wonderful book!!
You have put across the dilemma of most of us who are part of the corporate world and best thing….you just didn’t leave it there…. rather gave solutions to these problems. I was hooked and finished it in a day!!
In my words this book is a “Ready Reckoner” for sure success.
However request you to pls…. keep writing …..there are plenty of other unresolved mysteries that we face every day…..need answers for them as well:) to achieve our “desired success”
Wish you all the success!!
